For his Fall/Winter 2025-26 collection, Nicolas Ghesquière transformed a disused railway office building into an immersive cinematic train station, bringing the romance, nostalgia, and intrigue of travel to the world of Louis Vuitton.

The collection reflected the diverse experiences of train stations, from heartfelt goodbyes to glamorous voyages, capturing the spirit of transit and transformation. Ghesquière drew inspiration from iconic films like Brief Encounter, 2046, That Obscure Object of Desire, Snowpiercer, and even Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, weaving cinematic storytelling into both the garments and presentation

Set against a courtyard near Gare du Nord, the show’s venue was reimagined as a sleek waiting room, reminiscent of a Thomas Demand artwork. Monitors displayed hurried travelers, enhancing the transportive atmosphere, while Kraftwerk’s "Trans Europe Express" played before the show, hinting at an exclusive collaboration with the legendary electronic band. A capsule of clothing and leather goods featuring Kraftwerk’s album art was later revealed.

The 60-look collection offered an eclectic mix of styles, blending the practical with the poetic:

• Technical outerwear, ruched velvet skirts, cargo shorts, and New Wave sweaters defined the urban traveler.
• Translucent trench coats, floral slip dresses, and draped gowns evoked effortless motion.
• Buffalo plaid blankets were repurposed into structured dresses and tops.
• Accessories included hat boxes, violin trunks, vanity cases, and re-editions of silk squares by artists Sol Lewitt, Andrée Putman, César Baldaccini, Richard Peduzzi, and Jean-Pierre Raynaud.

In a nod to timeless craftsmanship, Vuitton also unveiled a re-edition of its first watch, featuring a ceramic bezel designed by Gae Aulenti.
