Pedicure Equipment and Tools Necessary for Foot Care at Home

How to make your legs beautiful, and well-tended with no constant visits to a beauty salon?

There are several mandatory rules of taking care of feet at home that are available to every girl.

Regular pedicure

All you need for this is to buy professional pedicure tools, a bath and consumable materials.

The procedure set should include:

  • spatula or orange stick.
  • cuticle scissors.
  • nail clippers or nippers.
  • grater for processing the foot skin treatment.

Pedicure is recommended to be done every 4-5 weeks. You can put the procedure aside for 1-3 days to prevent deformation of the nail plate or the appearance of an ingrown nail. Before using pedicure equipment or pedicure tools, learn their names and uses.

Let's consider an example.

There are nail clippers. They are used to correct the length of the nail.  Can be replaced with a clipper.

Cuticle cutters are another tool. This is a tool for cutting rough leather from nail folds.

A manicure master can visually distinguish between nail clippers and cuticle cutters. There is no difference for an average user.

But if you cut the nail with cuticle cutters, then the tool should be changed immediately.

Elaborate the technical characteristics of the tools (the length of the cutting blade, the type of clippers, the format of the working part, with or without a heel), the rules of using and care for them.

Forehanded problem solution

Consider the "red flags" related to the condition of your feet. They need to be removed immediately:

  • Fungal Infection: it affects the nail plate, distorts its color and shape.  Also causes itching. Special ointments, creams, sprays are necessary;
  • Excessive Sweating: it softens the skin, making it more vulnerable to infections. The solution is the correct selection of shoes and best foot care products that eliminate this unpleasant effect;
  • Cuticle Damage: if you notice that the periungual skin is damaged, select the means to treat it.

The sooner you react to the problem, the higher the chance of solving it in a short time.

Acquiring a minimum set of foot care products

The answer to the question "how to make your feet look better?" is simple: just choose the right foot care product.

It includes:

  • Essential Oils: they are added to a warm bath before starting a cutoff pedicure. Among the favorite's of manicure, masters are eucalyptus and tea tree oils. They heal, soften the skin and have antiseptic properties;
  • Moisturizing Cream: it is applied at night to make the skin of your feet softer;
  • Remedies for Corns and Calluses: they eliminate these problems in a short time with no pain;
  • Scrubs: these products remove dead skin particles and deeply cleanse the epidermis.

Another secret on how to make your feet look pretty is pedicure socks with a special filling in.

This is a rather new foot care product.  There is a moisturizing cream with a high content of vitamins (A, E) and trace elements, essential oils in it.

It is used in extreme cases when the skin is extra dry, or there is some redness, cracks and other formations appear on it.

Socks are put on the feet after a pedicure. They should be used for 15-20 minutes, and then the feet are wiped dry. The skin after such a procedure becomes soft and pleasant to touch.

Foot massage

This procedure should be repeated once a week to improve blood circulation, color and condition of the skin of the legs.

You can use a tennis ball. You need to put your foot on it, and “roll” it back and forth.

You can massage the feet with your hands for 10-15 minutes, changing the intensity of movements.

You have learned how to take care of your feet at home, and now you can do it easily.
