For your wedding day, you probably want to appear chic and modern, but for that, you need a premium wedding outfit for your individual style to stand out. Therefore, you may be struggling to choose between a tuxedo, a suit, or yet another outfit.
Let's take a closer look at how to select the ideal suit and some guidelines for good taste.
The suit
The black suit is classic and unbreakable, but if you want to be on-trend, break the rule and choose a wedding suit in one of the blue colors, like a navy blue men's suit. When wearing a traditional black suit, you can experiment with colors, patterns, and details. Our suggestion for a men's suit in either black or navy blue is a white shirt, as it is the classiest. Bring a tie and a handkerchief in a more attractive pattern and colors, such as scarlet, purple, or orange, along with the rest of your outfit. You can also choose to wear a shirt in one of the pastel hues, such as lilac or baby pink if you dare.
Likewise, you can choose a suit with a pattern in addition to traditional black or navy blue outfits. Match white shirts and a short tie with plaid suits. Elegant, laid-back, and hip, plaid suits appeal to all ages.
Tuxedo
Choose a green or burgundy tuxedo if you are one of the brave men. Combine it with a white shirt with double cuffs since it is uncommon and ineffective on its own. Then again, grey tuxedos show the highest level of style! For a more formal event, such as a wedding, graduation, etc., you will require a high-quality tuxedo. However, as they are increasingly gaining popularity, we are starting to notice them more and more in clubs.
Choosing a tuxedo suit
The tuxedo suit should perfectly fit you, which means that you should feel at ease wearing it and that it should follow the contours of your body without being overly thin. On the other hand, it can be difficult to choose a shirt to go with a tuxedo suit. To start with, choose a white evening shirt with a broken collar if you wish to stick to the realm of traditional fashion. White, cotton, or linen are almost a must for men's tuxedo shirts. If buttons are visible, they should be small and black or be entirely hidden. The double cuffs are attached with ornamental buttons in gold, silver, or black. Over the buttons on the front of the man's shirt, there may be minor folds. In Europe, a raised collar or a shirt with a broken collar is preferred with a tuxedo, of course, paired with a black satin butterfly bow. In North America, however, a shirt with a traditional collar is worn with a tuxedo.
Even though the tuxedo may be of a different color, the trousers should be black. These trousers can be identified by the thin satin black line that is sewed over the seams themselves along the side of the leg. Men's trousers, suspenders, or, more commonly today, a classy men's suit belt can be used to secure these pants, which are worn without cuffs.
The Impressive Vest
If you're having a summer wedding, a sleek vest may be a better choice than a bulky dinner jacket. Even though a vest is far less formal than a normal suit, it may still leave a lasting impression. Just be sure to keep it buttoned to prevent it from seeming too casual.
Similar to a dinner jacket, the sleek appearance you want may be achieved by selecting a style that fits closely around the shoulders and body without tugging the cloth at the back. Put on a pair of tailored pants and a polished pair of shoes to complete the appearance.
Beachy cool
Long, loose-fitting white shirts and a pair of corduroy pants are much more appropriate for the hot, muggy weather when attending a wedding on the beach. Try a seersucker suit if your invitation specifies "beach formal." This will help you retain a sense of formality while regulating your body temperature and keeping you feeling calm. An elegant alternative is a dinner jacket and shirt made of stretched cotton.
Finally
Finally, it is advisable not to combine more than three colors at once. It's a fantastic idea to wear several tones of the same color, but be sure to pay attention to how well the color of your shirt and tie contrast with the color of the rest of your outfit!
All of these outfits will make you look stunning on your wedding day, so keep them in mind and be prepared to put in a bit extra time and effort to get the results you want!
