Kate Middleton wears Alexander McQueen for Princess Charlotte's Christening

Nine week old Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge, daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton was baptised at the St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their first appearance as a family with their two precious children as they arrived on foot for the ceremony.

Kate Middleton was dressed in a gorgeous cream ivory creation from Alexander McQueen with a Jane Taylor hat and cream pumps, and pushed Princess Charlotte's pram as Prince William held on two Prince George's hand.

Hundreds of well-wishers gathered outside the church, where Lady Diana of Wales was also christened, and waved to the adorable family.

Princess Charlotte melted hearts with her chubby cheeked self dressed in the same lace gown that was worn by brother Prince George for his christening.

While Charlotte was wide-eyed in her traditional silver wheeled black and white Milson pram, it was Prince George who stole the show, dressed in a red and white embroidered smock and shorts by Rachel Riley, identical to the one worn by Prince William as a toddler when first taken to meet Prince Harry as a baby.

The happy couple beamed as they made their way into the church, followed by the Queen dressed in pale pink, Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, sister Pippa and brother James, as well as Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, who nearly suffered a wardrobe malfunction in her pale blue ensemble due to the gusty wind.

Princess Charlotte, who is fourth in line to the throne, was baptised using water from the River Jordan and the 174-year-old silver gilt Lily Font, which was brought to Norfolk especially from the Tower of London where it is usually kept alongside the Crown Jewels.

Five godparents have been named for the gorgeous baby Princess including Prince William's cousin Laura Fellowes, his close friends Thomas van Straubenzee and James Meade, Kate's cousin Adam Middleton, and her friend Sophie Carter.
