This architecturally striking venue, known as Hong Kong’s first major project by a French architect, perfectly complemented Viard’s aesthetic—a blend of sleek urban design and refined nautical charm. The venue, crafted by Coldefy & Associés Architectes Urbanistes (CAAU), echoes the Cité Radieuse’s daring structure, with soaring glass pillars and a floating platform, symbolizing a fresh canvas aligned with Chanel’s enduring theme of reinvention.

The Cruise 2025 collection is a stylish tribute to seafaring elegance, reinvented for a sophisticated audience. It features everything from glamorous sequin jackets for evening looks to beachy flatform sandals, oversized straw hats, and elaborately embroidered scuba-style hoods. Each piece embodies a breezy, upscale beach vibe, seamlessly blending Chanel’s timeless aesthetic with Le Corbusier-inspired modernist touches.

To enhance the Hong Kong show, Chanel collaborated with acclaimed French director Audrey Diwan to create Modern Flirt, a cinematic short starring Angela Yuen and Benjamin Voisin. The film explores a narrative of intrigue and allure, enhancing the collection’s mystique. Through Diwan’s storytelling, Modern Flirt melds fashion with film, celebrating the elegance of French sophistication with a modern twist.

The collection offers versatile staples for an idyllic vacation. Beach-inspired looks include crochet cardigans over swimsuits, playful straw boater hats, and casual shorts paired with leather tops. Sangallo lace sets and cozy terrycloth-inspired robe coats combine practical wearability with Chanel’s signature elegance.

For evening wear, the collection features breezy cotton dresses and jeweled swimsuits, adorned with layered pearls, charm bracelets, and Robespierre-style bow blouses. An eye-catching highlight? The iconic Chanel double C, worn as a chic decorative purse—a playful reimagining of the brand’s heritage. Additionally, the beloved Chanel tweed reappears in vibrant shades of green, yellow, and classic black and white, matched with netted necklaces decorated with marine-inspired charms.
